[review] skinfood nail vita nail polish (pk205)

16 Apr

hey there!

here is my skin food nail vita nail polish post as promised c:

i bought this polish while visiting korea last summer.

my friend and i had fun going through all the beauty stores lined up throughout the street, testing out their products & getting free samples c: near the end of this shopping trip, all our nails were polished in every color imaginable! (i wish i took a pic!) while admiring my colorful nails, there was a pinky peach color that caught my eye that i didn’t notice before. my instant thought: ‘i must have this color!!’

so, we again went through all the beauty shops; skinfood, nature republic, etude house, tony moly… until we wandered into skinfood (again, lol) and the girl working there was able to match the wanted color! i immediately bought 2 (one for me and one for my mom, she only wears natural colors!) and also got my friend  polish & polish remover as a thank you/think of me gift c,: (i don’t get to see her often)

if i had the chance, i would love to try more of their products & korean cosmetics in general! but they aren’t very accessible in the states haha :P i regret not buying more korean skincare/cosmetic products!!

without further ado, here are pictures of the polish!

it’s a peachy pink (with ultra fine pink/gold shimmer dust) the polish is called pk205.

{i absolutely LOVE the color. this is my go-to polish.} i don’t think the pictures do it justice! the color looks a lot better in person c:

however, the application can be streaky at times and tends to flake off near the cuticles after 2-3 days of wear (without base/top coat)

this color is perfect for the spring and summer seasons!

here is their website if you are interested in their other products!: http://eng.theskinfood.com/

sorry for all the text! and thanks for reading c: well then, til next time!

xoxo, coffee.
